How verification works

No receipts. No screenshots. The vendor's own records.

Every review here is tied to a real order, confirmed by the store that shipped it, without the store ever seeing the review first. Here's the whole journey.

The journey of a review

When you start a review yourself. Reviews from a vendor's invitation email skip step 3, because the store already sent us the order.

  1. 1

    You write about your order

Pick the vendor, add your order number and date, and write what happened: shipping, packaging, paperwork, support.

Arrived in three days, cold pack intact, lot numbers matched the COA...
  2. 2

    We screen the wording

Products here are sold for research use only. We remove personal information and anything about personal use, dosing or health effects. If we change a word, you see it first.

    Before it goes live

Support was great. Ask for Mike, his cell is 555-0142. They reshipped the next day.

Personal info removed. You approve the edit. Your rating and opinion never change.
  3. 3

The vendor checks the order, blind

We ask the vendor one question: does this order exist? They answer before they can see your rating or a word of your review, so they can't pick and choose.

  4. The outcome

Three ways it can go. None of them let a vendor quietly bury a review.

    Vendor confirmsVerified Order

Published with the green Verified Order label. The vendor's records prove the purchase.

No answer in 7 daysVendor didn't respond

Published anyway, labeled so you know. Ignoring a review never buries it.

    Vendor can't find itNot published

We tell the reviewer so they can fix a mistyped order number. Denials are tracked per vendor.

Two ways reviews arrive

An invitation after delivery

Vendors on RUO Reviews send us every order. A few days after delivery you get a one-time link. The order is already proven, so your review goes straight to screening.

Vendors must send every order, not a hand-picked list, and each profile shows what share of its reviews came from invitations.

You start one yourself

Search the vendor, enter your order number and date, and the blind check above takes it from there.

What the labels mean

Verified Order

The vendor's records show this order: it came from their store, or they confirmed it.

Vendor didn't respond

The reviewer gave an order number and the vendor didn't answer within 7 days. Both labels count the same in the RUO Score.

Rules every vendor plays by

No deleting

Vendors can't edit, hide, reorder or remove reviews.

One reply

Each review gets one public reply, labeled as the vendor's.

Fake flags only

Vendors can flag a review as fake, never because it's negative.

Paying changes nothing

A vendor's plan never touches its score, rank or reviews.
